Roxana-X is the new creation of Alexandre Pring, performer and marioneteer. Since 2005 his solo work Mix Melhores Cabaré, a performance of small sketches, whose Roxana-X is one of them. It is about an amusing scene of strip-tease made by Roxana, a marionette of natural size, conceived, constructed, and manipulated by Alexandre Pring, who chose a type of intimate work with improvisation to music, with dance and the marionette manipulation.

Roxana-X provokes the audience, showing erotism and sensuality, with satiric humour of the traditional scenes of strip tease.

Foam and recycled material constitute the Roxana marionette, livened up through direct manipulation of poles and juggling. The sound track is chosen by the author, and can change with the type of audience and place. Although the performance is for an adult audience, it can be adapted to any type of auditorium, and presented in any surrounding. Roxana-X already presented in the 9º Festival Nacional de Teatro de Marionetas de Alcobaça (Portugal), Café-Concerto do Teatro Municipal da Guarda, Cabaret Vivo do Chapitô, Parlatório Café, Irish-Bar, Alcopazio, Space e Clinic (Alcobaça-Potugal).
